This is starting to get ridiculous.
Last night, during my fantasy baseball draft, in an effort to throw support behind him, I chose Julio Lugo as my starting shortstop.
Yes. While he was being taken out of the game with a sore knee, I was picking him to be on my team. He’s on the record as saying he’s “worried” and Tito piled on by offering that it might be a torn meniscus. In all honesty, I was hoping for a healthy, effective Lugo this year. This does not bode well for that happening.
I’ve knocked two out of the game already and the season hasn’t even started yet.
Oh, Julio, I’m so sorry.
