Okay, I absolutely understand all the reliving history stuff during the Yankees/Orioles game tonight. And Whitey Ford and Yogi Berra in the booth was the most entertaining and interesting ESPN has been all year.
But when Gammons starts felating George Steinbrenner, I have to shut the volume off. How convenient that people forget small things like his being a felon just because it’s the last game in Yankee Stadium.
And if you believe Joe Morgan tonight, he spent his entire career wishing he was a Yankee. :Groan:
On the other hand, nice to see old friend Kevin Millar continuing his Yankee-killer ways. 🙂
