DavidpSorry to disappoint every negative Sox fan and every Yankees fan in he crowd, but I’m not going to moan about last night’s loss.  I was upset after the game, mostly for Pauley, but the truth is he pitched a great game.  Tito left him in too long and brought in the one pitcher he shouldn’t have to replace him…and the Yankees win on a walked-in run.

Teams lose two games in a row.  The Sox do and even the ‘mighty’ Yankees do.  Only reason it’s an issue right now is because the team we just lost two in a row to pushed us out of first place.  It stinks, but the team will get past it – of this I have no doubt.

Another odd day in the Boston Sports Media.  I fully expected them all to jump on the "the Sox are doomed" bandwagon.  Instead, they are all, correctly, noting how this was a great game for Pauley even though the ending stunk.  It’s nice to see folks finally ‘getting’ it.

It’s raining in Boston.  I hope it isn’t raining in New York.  Sox need to get back out there as soon as possible.

I have lots going on the remainder of the week and I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to post again before tomorrow morning and after that maybe not until Friday night.  So, if I’m not ‘around’, don’t take it as my going into hiding.  Sometimes my real life collides with the baseball one.  🙂

I hope David Pauley wakes up today proud of what he did.  He certainly should.

Have a great day, folks!
