Seriously, I cut myself on a medicine bottle (Headache or gash on my finger? Decisions, decisions.) and it bled a lot and hurts like hell. (Right hand, index finger.) Not even close to needing stitches, yet when I type my finger says “Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow.”

No worries. I’m a tough chickie and I’ll suck it up. But, man, if a little cut hurts like this, what the heck did Mike’s finger feel like?

I can’t believe it’s only 20 past 9. I fell asleep around this time each night for the last two nights. So you’ll have to indulge me if I talk to myself here for a little bit before the Sox game starts. I’m still watching the Yankees and Blue Jays game and Mr. Paul O’Neill is being a bit critical of the great and powerful Joba. He might not have a job in the morning. Joba has two outs and a guy on second.

Mariano Rivera is in the bullpen nodding and smiling. I’ll interpret for you: “See you smug bastard, it isn’t so easy is it?”

Speaking of smug, Joba strikes out Alex Rios and does this spin thing and pumps his fist and screams to end the inning.

If he wants to be a closer, maybe he should just knock Mariano off and be done with it?

I just realized that NESN has pre-game stuff on. The channel, she gets changed.

Eck has a nice tan and a pink tie. I’m a little bummed Jim Ed isn’t on tonight.

Oh good God, NESN is showing Gagne’s implosion from yesterday. 🙁

Tom Caron just announced that Josh pitched well in Florida today: 5 innings 6 strikeouts 64 pitches. Yeah, Doggie!

Yanks win, 3-2. Oh well. Can’t lose ’em all. 😉

Nick Cafardo has used the word “prognosticators” three times tonight. And after saying last week that the Blue Jays could win the division, tonight he says they won’t. Way to hold a position, Nick.
