It should have been called in the fifth. Heck, it should have been called BEFORE the fifth. I couldn’t care less right now that calling the game means the Red Sox lose. If any of our players, or any of the Rangers get hurt because of the weather conditions, either team is screwed.
Who makes these decisions at this point? The team or the umpires?
Either way it’s ridiculous that this game is still going on. The health of the players is much more important than the freaking game at this point.
(and as I finish typing this, they start rolling the tarp out. it’s about freaking time.)
