I have to throw a ‘thank you’ out there to my good friend Kelly O for ‘dragging’ me to Fenway last night! I got to see Brenken and knew that I had other friends in the park – and we all got to see the Sox win another one against the Angels, taking a 2-0 lead and, most fabulously, we got to see Manny’s first walk-off home run since he’s been with the Red Sox!
(I was also at Manny first, <only?> walk-off WALK, on a rainy September night two years ago!)
I’m still going through my pictures and re-living the evening in my mind. My first baseball playoff game and it was one for the ages. At least for me it was. And getting home at 2am was completely worth it!
I’m probably not around tomorrow to blog. That coupled with an email I received this evening gave me the idea to start up a ‘guest’ blogger account. And, tonight, my first guest blogger is the ever-entertaining (and my good friend) "Tru".
This should be fun. 🙂
