Well, not until Monday, but still, it’s just about here.
It’s a big day in Boston. I won’t be able to attend (although, to be fair, I never do.) but I’ll be waiting for updates from folks who will be there and look forward to seeing those trucks head out – signifying the start of spring training.
All I can say is, this is one of those off-seasons when I really, REALLY miss baseball. And thinking about how much I want to watch baseball, coupled with thinking about that MLB/Direct TV deal, really annoys the crap out of me.
But today I’ll just think about how great it will be to see the pitchers and catcher at the end of the week, working out in sunny Fort Myers. And I’ll remember that I have a ticket to opening day.
That does wonders for keeping the crankies away.
