I’d be Good with a Split

Am I the only one who woke up this morning not really bothered by last night’s loss? I mean, God knows I hate it when the Sox lose; you never want to see that. But I’m not all angsty about their having lost to the Yankees. It just doesn’t have that same feel as it has in the past. I can’t explain it better than that.

The offense knocked Wang around last night – so that’s a positive. The pitching wasn’t great, but neither was the Yankees’ – sometimes it happens.

Lowlight of the game was Youk getting hurt. MRI was negative but he probably isn’t playing tonight. That’s our third basemen, our first basemen and our backup infielder. That’s more bothersome than one loss. Here’s hoping everyone is back at 100% soon.
