So do the Indians fan hate the ninth inning or what?

Two come from behind, ninth inning victories – last night our Captain was the one leading the way with a pinch-hit home run.  Youk is still on fire and even Jed Lowrie did his part.  It was a fun game to watch.

Today and tomorrow = The Bronx.  Just like games one and two last week, Buchholz v Wang and Beckett v Mussina.  If last week is any indication, we’re in for some good baseball.

Paw Sox at 2pm today with Abe Alvarez pitching.  Word is Kyle will find his way into the game.  Good luck, Kyle!

Lowrie’s bases-loaded hit was great, but the story for me last night is Tek’s home run.  So many in the world of baseball/Red Sox fandom want to write him off and every time they do he proves himself again.  Tek came in and took control last night (doing something that hasn’t been done since old friend Doug Mirabelli against the Yankees in 2005), giving the Sox the win.

Exactly what a team leader should do. 🙂

And I know Papi is still struggling, but I’m not worrying about him just yet.  If this is going on in June, I’ll start to get concerned.

According to mlb.com, there are still tickets available for tomorrow’s Sox/Yanks game.  Beckett and Mussina pitching and there are still tickets available.  As the commercial says, ‘this is NOT Boston’.  😆

I missed good chunks of Monday’s and Tuesday’s games because I was working late.  I’m really going to try and be waiting for the game to start tonight, instead of coming in while it’s already in progress.  Wish me luck!
