Somehow, seeing the Yankees get their asses kicked by the Rays takes the sting out of the loss against the Blue Jays.
Hey it was Opening Day for the Jays – let them have one win. And let’s hope the team goes out tomorrow and kicks butt behind Clay Buchholz. Game is on at 1:07pm EST so it’ll be nice and early! Given what went on tonight, I suppose there’s a good chance of seeing Kyle pitch tomorrow as well.
Because of work and commitments at home, I only got to see pieces of the game, so I didn’t get a good grasp on how Wake looked. (But I got to see Kevin Cash’s double and JD’s 3-run, game-tying homerun!)
It’s been a long week. I’ll fall asleep to the end of the Twins/Royals game and probably dream of baseballs. 🙂
