Hell, Bronson, suck the fun out of everything, why don’t you?

C. Trent Rosecrans, apparently, hates to see me happy because he texted Bronson to find out the deal with his song Sunday night to get the ‘real’ story:

“I was just having fun, playing with the crowd,” Arroyo said. “Last year I made some song where I said Adam Dunn hated all the coaches and Ken Griffey Jr. and the year before I had something about Jason LaRue and Matt Belisle. It’s obviously not true, it’s just having fun.”

Oh come ON!  Next thing you know, Bronson is going to tell us he doesn’t hate ARod.
 

Another screen grab from the "Boston" vidI like that the beat writers (or in this case EX beat writers) in Cincinnati pick up on the same trivial stuff that the beat writers in Boston pick up on.  It couldn’t just be fun.  It couldn’t just be, "Bronson sang a song to make the Boston fans happy", it had to turn into drama.  Oh well…if I can pretend that Lenny is in Oakland pining for Bronson, I can pretend Bronson is in Cincinnati pining for Boston.  🙂

In any event, if I had Bronson Arroyo’s cell phone number I wouldn’t be texting him about silly things like this.  I’d be asking him important questions like "What color underwear are you wearing?" and "How do you feel about older women?".   Hard hitting questions the world needs answers to.

I don’t know why Mr. Rosecrans is out of a job.  Apparently, having a sense of humor doesn’t get you far in the field of sports writing. 

I wouldn’t know anything about that.
