Was there a team meeting to help define “run support”?

Papi gives my man the love post-game!
Extremely happy with the results last night.  Special thanks to Jere for taking me to the game! We sat in section 34 and had a really amazing view of the park.  Some photos from the night are up here.

Nice to see the team getting together and hitting the damn ball!

Only blemish on the night for me was the idiot who kept screaming at Coco Crisp.  It got so bad, I yelled at him (although the drunken fool surely didn’t hear me).  So my apologies to Jere for screaming ‘asshole’ near the end of the game.  (But DAMN he was!  Not Jere, but the idiot heckler.)

Timmy looked amazing.  7 strong innings and only giving up one run.  Nice to see Donnelly in there again, but it was also nice to see Tito not hesitate to give him the hook after he hit Orlando Cabrera.  Kelly and I disagree on Tito’s use of Papelbon.  I have no problem with his expecting Pap to get five outs.  Six pitches later and the worry I suffer every time he comes to the mound was gone.  This kid will eventually make me realize there is such a thing as a sure thing.

Timlin pitched a perfect ninth.  You all know how happy THAT made me!  🙂

Dustin Pedroia showed off a bit of the glove last night…hoping to see more of that!

Off to another game today (this time thanks to Kelly).  Thanks to Fox it’s a 3:55pm game.  My first look at Schilling and I expect good things!
