Yankees broadcasters actually initiating a discussion about payroll…and basically beating to death how much money Dontrelle Willis makes compared to the rest of the team – and bringing up how it isn’t really fair, with revenue sharing, how LITTLE the Marlins spend.
So the issue isn’t that George Steinbrenner spends too MUCH money, it’s that teams like the Marlins ($15 million payroll according to these fellas) don’t spend enough?
Still bitter from 2003, I see.
