The Sox win…and look great doing it!
The Yankees win. Not what I really wanted, but ARod’s grand slam allowed me to shut off the tv and not stay up until 1am watching them pound the A’s.
Night game tonight – so I won’t miss the Sox while I’m at work!
And to respond to a comment Mark made: I in no way condone chucking things at players – even Barry Bonds. But ESPN made a much bigger deal out of it than necessary, mostly because they have all this money tied up in his show and need to protect that investment. It was a stupid thing to do, but MLB should have been prepared for this. Sadly, it will probably continue as long as Barry is allowed to play and treated like he did nothing wrong.
Rain in Boston right now. Doesn’t make it any easier for me to get back to work after my long weekend!
