I mean, really…
When WBZ’s Jon Miller asked whether Wells was still seeking a trade, Wells said, "That’s it guys, I’m done. You asked the wrong question. It’s not your fault. You didn’t know, but I’m done."
So, he makes himself "available", to the media and when one of them asks him the question he knows they all want to ask…he shuts them down.

They didn’t know, what, David? That you’re an obnoxious jerk pitching a hissy fit because you’re finding out that no other team EXCEPT the Red Sox wants you?
I’m pretty sure they all knew that. And if they didn’t, you just proved it to them.
I hope he’s stuck on this team all season long.
