Man, I hate that place. (Not Minnesota itself – heck I have a very good friend who lives there. Just the park in which the Twins play. I could live without the Sox ever going there again!)
So here we are, a day later and neither the Sox nor Yanks gained any ground. How many times, now, have I said ‘it’s going to be a long season’?
Thanks to the kind words from everyone who sent them along. It’s always nice to get feedback, but positive feedback is the best! I really appreciate it!
I’m still not getting the Randy Johnson suspension. Okay, I get it, but I don’t agree with it. He didn’t hit the guy…he just warned him. I agree with the comments here yesterday that say he
bought himself a lot of credibility with the Yankees fans with his actions. Now if ARod could only find someone to fight with…
Good bye David Riske, we hardly knew you. But, apparently, YOU represent all that is wrong with our bullpen. (In that, you’re the only guy they were willing to trade who other teams didn’t start screaming when your name was mentioned.)
It isn’t reflected in my list at the left, but I’ll be at all three Sox/Nationals games next week. I’m really excited! Of course, all the seats are single seats (maybe I should be rooting for the Red Sox to lose this year so I can get back to buying more than one seat per game?), but I’m still really looking forward to it!
Unrelated to baseball: The Heat won again last night. I’m rooting for the Heat for two reasons, 1) I can’t stand Mark Cuban and 2) I want Shaq to have something to rub Kobe’s nose in. Yes, I can be a spiteful fan!
Sox are in Atlanta to play their "natural rivals" (good gravy!). This is a different Braves team (at least they are playing like a different team) than in the past…and the Sox just lost 4 in a row…I never make bold predictions, but I smell a sweep!
Here’s hoping, anyway!
Have a great day, folks! As long as the timing is right, I think I’ll be live blogging the Braves game…maybe bring Lester some good mojo!
