Either I was in the wrong frame of mind when I watched this movie or I’m becoming immune to the charms of James Stewart.
I adore Jimmy Stewart. Love him. Will kick anyone who speaks poorly of him.
Having written that, this film just reeked of something he had done many times before and it bored me. This is coming from a diehard baseball fan who loves James Stewart. It’s an inspirational story but one that I would have enjoyed had it not been so, I don’t know, Mr. Smith goes to Chicago-ish.
I feel like a scrooge for not liking this movie. It’s killing me.
