Hi folks! Just wanted to send out another reminder that we’re collecting donations to help pay for the travel of the Taylor family. Some of you have sent questions, the most common being what would happen to any money that might be left over. I emailed Tru to get the dope and he responded with more information:
The question is a good one, but frankly the answer is, I don’t know. But first know that the total party is eight people, coming from SLC Utah to Boston, spending three nights here. I did a quick Google of flight costs, and prices vary between $450 to $700 per person. The hotel rate I secured (for seven people, before Taylors brother joined the trip), was close to $700 per night. Using the lowest cost of flight means roughly $3,600.00 in airfare, plus $2,100.00 in hotels. Meals I have no idea. But, my guess is this trip will cost them close to $7K.
I don’t know if we’ll collect all of that, but it would be great if we did.
But, if there were an overage, we can donate the rest to the Jimmy Fund, which is always a very good thing!

I’m with Tru, I think it would be fabulous if we could cover the entire travel costs, but I sense we probably won’t be able to in the time we have. Still, I think any amount would be helpful and appreciated. So, thanks again for all your inquiries and support!
