So Daniel Cabrera hits ARod last night and everyone except Joe Girardi and the ump who threw Cabrera out of the game thinks he didn’t mean to.
Fast forward to today and during the O’s/Yanks game, Michael Kay has this to say about Joe Girardi and his whining:
“If you’re going to defend Joba, you really shouldn’t say anything about Cabrera”
Kay wasn’t at all happy that Girardi was bitching about Cabrera when Chamberlain has been throwing at Kevin Youkilis’ head.
A few innings later in the same game…it’s 9-2 Yankees and Edwar Ramirez takes the mound in the 7th inning and his first pitch almost hits Kevin Millar (Yankee killer) in the head. Ramirez is immediately tossed from the game and all of the announcers on YES agree that last night Cabrera didn’t mean to hit ARod but that Ramirez was certainly “sending a message” by throwing at Millar’s head.
There are not enough adjectives to describe what an ultimate, fucking asshole I think Joe Girardi is. And, I sense, Michael Kay not-so secretly might agree with me.
Yankees baseball: If you best us, we’ll hit you in the head!
