I had a wonderful birthday and a lovely Christmas, and today (well yesterday, now) I had an unbearably stressful day all around. So at 2:35am, I’m still awake.
I’m watching a documentary on Fred Phelps and his whacko family and church. It is certainly not the thing to put me in a better mood – it’s pissing me off and keeping me up. :/ I recommend the documentary if, for no other reason, to educate people on the hate that still permeates this country. Hopefully their God will smite them. (Off my soapbox now.)*
I received a wonderful gift from a friend today – music. So I’ve been listening to new music (okay, not ‘new’ but new to me!) all day and that’s helped make it less sucky. 🙂 So, thanks Kelly!
*Two baseball connections in this documentary I’m watching. Someone sitting in Phelps’ "church" is wearing a Coco Crisp t-shirt – and one of Phelps’ psycho sons is wearing a Yankees cap. Ugh.
