Lenny loves Kelly*

Lenny DiNardo came in the Yankees/A’s game at the top of the 12th and retired the side…but not before hitting Johnny Damon with a pitch (I watched this with the sound off so I don’t know if Singleton and Flaherty brought up the fact that DiNardo and Walker were teammates on the 2004 team.  :-D)  Once a Red Sox player, always a Red Sox player, eh Lenny?

A brief look into the insanity that is me.  I’m meeting a friend at Fenway tomorrow at 11am.  Because of public transportation issues, in order to get there on time I need to leave the house at 9am.  No biggie there, but it does mean I really should get some sleep.

So I shut the volume off on the game and start to fall asleep while the game is tied 3-3 (which, as I type this, it still is).  I wake up with a start, PISSED, because Jeter somehow won the game for them and had the nerve to take a curtain call.  In Oakland!  I decided to post an entry with the title "Derek Jeter is an asshole" and put it under the curtain call category.

It took me a good minute to fully wake up and realize that it was part of a dream and the score was still tied.

Mike Piazza just popped up to end the 12th.  ARod, Giambi and Cano are up next and now I’m wide awake at ten past one.

Lenny’s still pitching.  Do it for Kelly, Len.

Great.  He strikes out ARod and then HGHiambi hits a home run off  him.  Tough to beat a cheater, Len.

(*Apparently, not enough! )
